Peter Beier

Born October 28, 1956, in Neustadt/Holstein

Education:

University studies at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, majoring in English, Politics,  Economics, and

Education; graduated with a teaching certificate for secondary schools; subsequently completed Camphill training as

a special education teacher

Professional experience:

Lecturer in Camphill training programs (sociology, social therapy); Head of Camphill training programs; Workshop

manager, managing director, and board member in various Camphill institutions, specializing in organizational

development

As a private lecturer: Advanced training retreats on organization and community building

Offer:

Anthroposophical social therapy and curative education are based—in addition to individual curative education and

social therapy work—on the concept of spiritual community building. This is considered helpful both as a

fundamental therapeutic approach with the children and adults involved and, within the context of human

development, as an essential element of inclusion.

The professional side of our institutions is facing increasing demands due to current socio-political developments—in

subjective experience, the motive of community building seems to be receding more and more into the background.

The offer includes participation in one or more advanced training retreats, in which, in addition to the development

of shared knowledge, artistic work and biographical exchange play a role.

Duration:

Friday midday to Sunday midday—evenings are part of the program.

Location:

Erlenhof in the Odenwald region, in holiday apartments and training rooms. In this rural setting, the group organizes

itself. Community building becomes a tangible experience during the event.
