Brigitta Waldow

Brigitta Waldow, born in 1962 in Berlin, studied art history and English literature at the Free University of Berlin

(graduating with a Master of Arts degree).

 

For nine years, she worked as a freelance employee at the Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal and lives and works

at the Hof Educational Center in Kotthausen, near Wuppertal.

 

For twelve years, she taught art history at the Artaban School for Art Therapy in Berlin and continues to work as an author, curator, and lecturer.

 

Her work focuses on:• Art appreciation as the art of seeing, and the training of perception as an organ of awareness.• Artist biographies (especially those of Greg Tricker (UK), Maria Hiszpańska-Neumann (Poland), and others).
