It is clear that the signs of the times have begun a new phase in the reception of Kaspar Hauser. Three qualities are particularly important here: the actual recognition of his fulfilled mission, the awareness of the complexity of his being as well as the sincere struggle within us for those virtues that have already been lived out most beautifully by the "child of Europe" and which are of crucial future viability.
